They pulled out all the stops in making these the old fashioned way, deep cuffs with piping on the arms and legs. The waist closes with a side zip and the legs are cut full and swishy. The weight of the cuffs add to the effect. Honestly, I think these could be worn as regular dress pants too. The top is so pretty with a contrasting floral pattern on the modified mandarin collar. The sleeve cuffs are also piped with the same contrasting pattern. These are legit sleeves with pleating at the cuffs and button closure. On the subject of button holes, you can tell the quality of a garment by the finish of the button holes - and these are the nicest I've ever seen. There is no stretch to the fabric and no elastic, so you need to be a couple inches smaller than these garment measurements in order to wear it comfortably: Bust 44" / waist " 32 / hips 44" / thighs 25". The material is a silk crepe, which is not the slippery silk weave. Inseam is 30", high-rise is 11.5 - sit right at natural waist
