Such sad news, on 1-6-2017 Tilikum, the captive orca has died. He was taken from his family out of the waters at the young age of two and was forced to perform at Sea World. He was a slave for entertainment. Please if you have not seen the movie Blackfish, watch it. You are now FREE again.........🌈 All the orcas need to go to seaside sanctuaries!!! tillie214 @rachey27 🐳I agree he's not suffering anymore. Lolita has been there since 1970, she's known as the bathtub whale and one of the loneliest orcas in captivity. Her tank isn't even big enough for her. She lives with a dolphin😳 Someone took a recoding of orcas to her tank and she was SO interested in it.. I sobbed for her when I saw this..Look her up when you have time, Heartbreaking. I'm embarrassed to admit we went to sea world all the time when I was little. Glad someone else cares about this.

wendybs68 That poor sweet animal I never once took my children to see the orca's in an enclosure but we were blessed enough to see them in the wild when we lived on the Oregon coast beautiful animals that don't deserve to be taken from their natural habitat for peoples enjoyment you can simply enjoy them in their own element it's a far better experience

dani1157 @tillie214 Blackfish was a really great eye opener to the whale in captivity industry. As a child, I went to a sea park and it felt all wrong. I’ll never visit a sea park again. These are whales, not goldfish!!!!!!

lcallahan25 I am HEART Broken so cruel.. in some ways they do good by rehebaing helping the injured animals then the catch release program. However, this is cruel and uncalled for they deserve to be free where God put them. I feel the same about Elephants.

reevesrachel52 @tillie214 my daughter is obsessed with Tilikum and his story. She is only 13, but has done so much research on it. A few years ago, before she even knew about Tilikum, she asked if we could go to SeaWorld. I said, absolutely not! Now she knows why, and she wants to be a voice for these beautiful creatures! She makes me one happy mama!
