cruisegirl223 @zararock i will measure for you as soon as i get home from work. This came approximately a little bit below my hip. I don't see why it couldn't work as a cross body either. Almost all my purses when I go shopping I do that with my purses so I have my arms free to go through the racks and not worry about the purse falling off my shoulder.

cruisegirl223 @zararock just measured the strap drop and from middle of strap on shoulder to end of strap is approx 21-22" hope this helps
