The clock is an Atomic Radio clock, meaning it has the ability to get the information from a signal sent from a universal radio tower in Colorado. It's sent out at various times (not constant) and depending on signal and location, can take a few hours to a few days to receive the signal. When tested in Wisconsin, it got the signal in about one and a half days. The clock works fully and can be set manually as well, so it doesn't fully rely on the signal.
