RARE authentic 1920s silk & lace flapper dress in blue with polka dot pattern

rare 1920s era plus size flapper dress in a vibrant novelty print! the fabric is a bright, rich blue and even more stunning in person-- it features a graphic circle print in grey, white, and red throughout. classic flapper silhouette with loose fit, dropped waist, and bloused bodice with an attached silk belt & a bow at the left hip. intricate, antique ecru lace yoke, with v neck, modesty panel, and scalloped edges. long sleeves with deco triangular seaming on forearms and lace at the wrists. wrists have snap closures and the bodice is lined in cream silk. unfortunately it's quite rare to find old vintage clothing in larger sizes, so this is really a dream. :) approximate measurements (meant to fit loosely): bust: 50" drop waist (21" from shoulder): 45" hips: open length: 44" it slips over the head and has no closures, so allow extra room. it's in great *antique* condition. there are a few repaired splits around the back underarms, but well done and not noticeable at all when worn. some yellowing of a lace, a few tiny spots on one of the sleeve cuffs, and small tear under the bust & by the underarm. please note that excellent vintage condition, especially when a piece is this old, does not mean NWOT, haha-- maybe the 100 year old equivalent? please feel free to ask for more info/pictures and i'll happily provide! note: i live with cats and am always careful to thoroughly lint roll items (fabric permitting) before shipping, but use discretion if you have allergies!
