RARE Vintage mid century official CHICAGO FIRE DEPARTMENT long wool jacket WOW !

I’ve had this fabulous coat for years, and just don’t wear it anymore! It is an official mid-century Chicago FIRE DEPARTMENT long , gabardine wool , jacket. All the buttons are intact but there is no belt buckle on the sash belt. It is invery good gently worn condition -just one tear on the interior of the arm pit on one side as seen in the photo . Sleeve length is 26inches Shoulder to shoulder across the back is about 21 1/2 inches. There are epaulets fastened at the top of the shoulders with buttons. The jacket has 2 attached patches, a sash belt and double breasted buttons in the front. There is no lining on this jacket, although I think it originally had one. The length from shoulder to hem is 49 inches. Super warm! Great condition! A real statement piece! Long live our fire departments! A great addition to your wardrobe or collection!
