Is this a replica or a real Omega? If you don't mind.

@kelvin_c it’s the real deal, the beauty is that since it’s over $500 you get Poshmarks Authenticators to have a look and confirm so you would be buying with confidence.

Serial number?

@iwant18 I do not have that unless I probably undo the back. I don’t want to do that unless it’s done by a professional. According to Poshmark they will ensure it’s authentic, you have nothing to lose since it has a sale value over $500

Hi! Can you take pictures of the back side of it please?

vsoto03
@rcollins86 I’m currently away from home, but
When I get home I can take a picture of the back.

I'm very interested if it does come back on the market, but I have a few questions. Do you have a preferred method of communication outside of Posh? Thank you, have a good day :)

Vintage omega watches go honestly ~4-600 depending on condition. That one doesn’t look in the best of shape bud. Do you know when the last time watch was serviced? Reference number?
I have had a few vintage omegas. Vintage tags.

vsoto03
@bunger213 yea sorry man I owe you that one.

vsoto03
@lavadoc1988 no, actually I do not know. I had gotten this through a 3rd party. No service records but It’s a wind up. If I do get it serviced that would increase the price, which I suppose I could do to at least prove it’s worth.

@vsoto03 service will get you top dollar on the price, most vintage omega that run perfect can fetch what you are asking for to the right buyer. I would be a buyer today at ~250-300

vsoto03
@lavadoc1988 appreciate the offer but I would be foolish to give the watch up at that price. It is a manual wind, that in all reality does not require much service if any. I also lose the integrity of this watch and protection to the buyer if I sell for lower than $500. I apologize but I have to respectfully reject your number.
On another note, I need to get my personal watch serviced. I will be servicing this as well. The price will only spike to cover service costs.

That is not the correct back plate for that watch. An Omega would never corrode like that.
Jan 08Reply

vsoto03
@ocgeographic ok... keep in mind this is a very old watch. Every metal corrodes with enough time.

ryanvowell
@ocgeographic it looks like the correct back. I have one just link this (in better condition) with the same back. The inside is stamped “Omega Watch co. Fab Suisse Swiss Made. Acier Staybright”

@vsoto03 I would agree though.... the watch is a little high priced. Even though it’s an Omega with a Cal. 410 movement, it’s not a well known model like the Seamaster. Even the Geneve and Constellation go for a little less, like 4-600.
Just a heads up man.
