RARE Vintage Hobe Jeweled Cabochon Amethyst Crystal Red Aurora Collar Necklace

PART OF AN ESTATE SALE LIQUIDATION! This very RARE vintage Large amethyst piece with crystal stones is stunning. They’re surrounded by double rows of iridescent shimmering red aurora borealis faceted rhinestones and edged on both the top and bottom edge with slanted prong set, open backed, black navette stones. The necklace chain portion near the center has three rows of the iridescent rhinestones, with a ring of sparkling stones surrounding the huge, raised oval amethyst colored stone and long chain dangles, with each dangle ending in a black navette prong set stone. The Hobe company started in France in 1887 by goldsmith, Jacque Hobe. The necklace measures about 16" in length with the center drop measuring about 2 1/4". *The necklace is unsigned.
