RARE vintage framed print "CHECKERS". (see back) Pre-owned Jessie Willcox Smith was born in the Mount Airy neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (1863 - 1935. She was an American illustrator during the Golden Age of American Illustration. She was considered "one of the greatest pure illustrators".
