❤️VERY RARE Vintage Buddy Bates Chanel Adaptation Bouclé Houndstooth Blazer Size 36 Rare Piece with 7 Repurposed CC LOGO Buttons The Jacket is Made of Thick Fabric. Tag for Fabric Content no longer with jacket. CHANCES OF FINDING ANOTHER ONE OF THESE IS VERY RARE. Came from a Longboat Key Philanthropist Estate. Colors: Blue, Black and Off White Measurements: Armpit to armpit 18 1/2" Shoulder to Hem 23 1/2" Shoulder to Shoulder across the Back 15" SLEEVES: Shoulder to Wrist 22" Armpit to Wrist 15" CONDITION: The outside of the Jacket is Pristine. The Buttons have a Vintage look. The inside lining is faded and also needs to have the hem resewn. Will leave AS IS so Buyer can either change out lining or repair. HERE IS AN ARTICLE REGARDING LICENSING OF ORIGINAL ITEMS: An adaptation is a licensed copy, in this case of a Chanel original. If it was from the 20s then it was a copy manufactured in the U.S. from a Chanel Garment, not a toile. The process involved an agreement between Chanel and the manufacturer who would knock it off, usually a department store buyer with connections to a small New York manufacturer. They would 'borrow' the item and bring it to the U.S. The item was actually purchased from Chanel but had to be returned back to Paris after 6 weeks to avoid paying hefty duties which could be up to as much as half the cost of the original garment itself.
