Truly a interesting and charming cookbook. *First Addition* A Pinch of Soul-Fast and Fancy Soul Cookery for Today's Hostess by Pearl Bowser and Joan Eckstein. Published Avon Books (Hearst Corporation) in 1970 and has 288 pages. Large collection/variety of Soul recipes. 200 Years of Black Cookery- Heritage Cook Book by Indianapolis Black Bicentennial Committee. Published in 1976 and has 60 pages-152 recipes-31 of those are African recipes. Soul Food by Jim Harwood and Ed Callahan. Published in 1969 by Nitty Gritty Productions, 210 pages. Large collection/variety of unique recipes. (*The Soul Food book has a tear on the cover which was taped and the spine has split.) **Book are vintage and have some wear and tear on them. Pages have yellowed from age and they have a few spots on them from use.
