RARE Vintage 1970s Gloria Vanderbilt Murjani High Rise Straight Leg Denim Jeans. Vintage size 12. Please see measurements due to vintage sizing. Excellent vintage condition. No real wear. Slightly faded (?) area right lower leg possibly from storage but may wash out. 100% cotton has no stretch. 13" waist 11" rise 19" hip 29" inseam These jeans are ankle length or full length if you are petite! In 1976, Murjani teamed up with Gloria Vanderbilt and created history by launching a line of designer jeans – “Gloria Vanderbilt by Murjani”, the First Designer Jeans in the World and the First Jeans exclusively designed to fit a Woman. They were an instant success. The jeans had the Gloria Vanderbilt name embroidered on the back pocket and the Swan on the front coin pocket.
