RARE VTG Set of 6 7.5" Plates by Retsch & Co Wunsiedel Bavaria Porzellan

Each dessert plate measures approximately 7.5" wide and together they weigh over 3 lbs. These rare vintage plates are stunning. Mint green and metallic gold come close to stealing the show from the wonderful Fragonard-style image modeled after the art of Francois Boucher. "A Shepherd and Shepherdess in a Landscape". Retsch porcelain factory was created in 1891 in Wunsiedel, Bavaria / Germany, and existed for over 100 years before being sold. Backs of 3 plates read: "WUNSIEDEL R BAVARIA PORZELLAN" with 3 simply reading "BAVARIA" with a crown. Please view photos carefully for condition.
