This metal switch plate is still in its unopened original packaging and appears to have a piece of foam on the backside. It was manufactured by the C. R. Blessing company in Tulsa, Oklahoma. According to information on a Coke brand 1990s calendar, this image is from 1943. “During World War II, Robert Woodruff ordered ‘that every man in uniform get a bottle of Coca-Cola for 5 cents, wherever he is and whatever it costs the company.’” The last 3 photos show the complete image (without the cutout for the switch to go up and down) on a sign and also on the calendar. This switch plate appears to be much older than the 1990s. It is “new old stock” - still in original packaging and unused. A great piece for the collector.
1990s reproduction pics are for interest only; purchaser will receive the VINTAGE metal light switch plate cover in its original package only.
