VERY RARE 1950 “Les Amoureux de Peynet” powder compact signed by French newspaper illustrator Raymond Peynet (1908-1999) Miref of Paris. Highly collectible, rarely available on the third party market. Excellent condition but expect age appropriate wear on previously owned item. Gold plated with domed porcelain top 2 1/2 wide. Made in France shortly after WWII.
