This is an AUTHENTIC Mayors Cross Diamond Gold Necklace. This 18k white gold cross pendant on a 18" chain (it has a loop at 16 1/2" amd 18"...so it can be worn at either length.) Cross features 19 baguette shape diamonds with a total carat weight of 0.55, color H, clarity VVS1, as well as 54 round diamonds with a total carat weight of 0.50, color H, clarity VVS2 or VS1 with a ribbon-like designed bale. Designed by Oliva May. This was purchased MANY years ago from Mayor's jewelry store. LOVELY gift or even as a gift to yourself. Mayor's Jewelry is a fine jewelry store and owned by Birk's Jewelry, which is the Tiffany's of Canada. The diamond cross itself measures approximately 1 1/4"L (from top to bottom...including bale) by 3/4"W (at widest part.) The chain is signed, "Birks (on one side") and "PT 950 (on the other side...which is the hallmark for Platinum.") Also, the back of the cross is signed, "Birks." The cross and the chain weigh 10 grams on my scale. My scale only weighs in one gram increments...so it is in-between 10 and 11 grams. This is pre-owned and there are scratches and wear...this has not been polished. Pictures of actual item.
