RARE ESTATE VINTAGE GUMPS 14K AMETHYST BEAD CABOCHON DOUBLE STRAND NECKLACE

This is a CLASSIC Gump's amethyst necklace. GORGEOUS amethyst cabochon design clasp that is accented in 14k yellow gold. Originally purchased from Gump's in San Francisco many years ago. LOVELY 2 strands of amethyst beads separated by double knotted silk thread. Clasp is marked, "GUMPS14k." It measures approximately 25"L fully opened and laid flat. This weighs approximately 133 grams. Each amethyst bead is approximately 1/2" by 3/8". The rectangular amethyst cabochon clasp, measures 5/8"L by 7/16"W by 3/8"H. It has been worn a few times, but has been stored away in a safe in a non-smoking home. Pictures of actual item. The clasp does have a safety latch. It appears to be missing a third row (middle row) because on the clasp there are three loops, but it was this way when purchased...see pictures.
