Fabulous, Extremely Rare, Vintage, Celluloid, Articulated Legs, GIRAFFE Brooch. Measuring 3 3/8" x 2 1/2" x 5/16" deep with a secure C-Clasp. Body is composed of mottled brown celluloid with black hoofs, white eyes, and a twisted rope tail. Legs are articulated and sway with every movement. This exceptionally rare Jungle Animal brooch dates from the 1940s and mimics the celluloid military dangle "Buddy" brooches made at that time. Extremely fine condition. Polish to satisfaction.
