Rare Collectable Beanie with ERRORS 1996/1997 CHRISTMAS TEDDY Style 4200. Includes tag protector. Condition: Bear is like new. Tag has some creasing (pictured). This was the first Christmas Edition beanie baby make by TY Inc. Black eyes, brown nose. Materials: polyester fiber and P.V.C. pellets. Handmade. No stamp inside tush tag indicating the bear was not mass produced. Errors Include: 1. Swing Tag & Tush Tag ERROR says 1996 when ACTUAL Teddy’s birth year is 1997. 2. Tush tag states 1997, but opposite side states 1996 before TY INC., 3. Teddy’s Date of birth is in numeric format ( 12 - 25 - 96) INSTEAD of typed out (December 25, 1996). 4. Spacing ERROR between his Date of Birth and the : (colon) on swing tag. 5. NO COMMA after Oakbrook on BOTH SWING & TUSH TAGS. 6. COMMA follows IL INSTEAD of a PERIOD on tush tag. 7. Missing UK on swing tag after P015 5TXTY. 8. Lists "Fareham, Hants" on Swing tag. 9. TUSH & SWING tag contains TWO ® and TWO TM symbols ABOVE Teddy’s name. 10. Tush Tag has the Red Star *. 11. 1965(KR) standing for Korean Market on bottom line of Tush Tag.
