RARE Antique Thai Brass Thai Angel Teppanom Kneeling Namaste Statue Buddhist

This is a buddhist brass statue known as a Teppanom, sometimes known as a Thai Angel. It is composed entirely of solid Thai brass. The little statue is kneeling in a wai (prayer) attitude. As a mark of respect for Buddha, the kneeling Thai Angel is dressed ornately. Excellent Antique Condition. Weight is approximately 17oz. Height is approximately 17 centimeters. A piece gifted to my grandmother in the 1970's from a wealthy traveler living in Los Angeles. Age unknown.
