RARE Alexander Korda THIEF OF BAGDAD Enamel Blue Rhinestone Pewter Necklace

Vintage hand made and signed Thief Of Baghdad necklace by Alexander Korda. Pewter toned with detailing on both the front and back pieces. Features enameling, blue gemstones and pearl like beading. Significantly designed middle round is close to 2 inches across. Box closure. Necklace measures 15.5 inches. This necklace was created due to the popularity of the 1940's movie "THIEF OF BAGDAD", by Rice-Weiner & co of New England under license to United Artists, the US distributors. These pieces are a rare find and a small piece of old Hollywood history. The necklace is in excellent condition with minor enamel wear due to age. The piece is secured with decorative box clasp and signed at the back.
