RARE A Frog He Would a Wooing Go Jam Jar Set Shafford Salt & Pepper VTG Kitsch

This is a hard to find 1950s Shafford tabletop jam / condiment set which includes the serving tray, salt & peppers and a cottage shaped jam jar. These were hand painted and are based on the "A Frog He Would A-Wooing Go" nursery rhyme/song. Very cute, kitschy and rare to find with all the pieces still surviving. Condition: Excellent original condition, this was well cared for because I am not feeling any rough spots, chips or cracks. The S & P set still have their original corks. I have a feeling this was always a display piece. Approx. size: tray is 7" l x 2.5" w, frog is 3.25" h Keats said "A thing of beauty is a joy forever".
