Age / Size: 1977 is the date code at the lower right of the number sequence below 6:00. The full number sequence (both serial number and date code) is: 2377302577 / 31.4mm diameter not including the stem or crown Case Condition: This is one of the VERY few 45 year old chrome plated watch case finishes that legitimately rates EXCELLENT. There are some tiny light surface scratches and dings but this case doesn’t have plating loss that I can find. The case is a bit dirty and could use a basic cosmetic clean up. **IMPORTANT**: bezel condition is legitimately “very good plus” and since this is some sort of plastic resin bezel ring, that is very hard to find all these decades later. There is still paint within most all of the hash marks and numbers. The bezel does rotate in a non-ratcheting manner in both directions, properly as it should. Case Metal: Chrome plated bezel, stainless steel snap down case back Dial Condition: Like the case, this ORIGINAL and COLORFUL Timex diver style dial is in beautiful and “excellent” cosmetic condition. The hands are not quite as nice as “excellent”- they both have small areas of corrosion near the luminous filling. Currently it will set the time, but rotating the bezel is hard. It needs a service. This Watch is very desirable especially considering the age and condition. It’s hard to find in this condition. I believe if it is oiled properly, it wouldn’t have a problem!

lgv2010 @mala_vida wait that’s the second of this model is perfect, THIS one, the crown is tight to turn, it needs a simple oiling and I think it will be top notch. It runs then stops bc it can’t be wound well enough, date changes over, and sets time perfectly. Bezel, isn’t a lockdown, it downs excellently!
