RARE 1958 Vintage HERMES Tuch/Foulard/Scarf "BELLE ETOILE" Pierre Peron

Here's an absolutely beautiful, authentic HERMES 100% silk twill scarf named Belle Etoile ("beautiful star") by artist P. Peron. This color configuration is extremely rare. I found only one example online in France. This design was produced in several other color combinations ie, teal and even purple. The nautical design features several fishing boats outlined with a beautifully drawn nautical knot frame. The colors are a pale greenish blue, golden browns, the rope is charcoal and the other colors are combined for various shading in the lake and bottom of the boats. In EXCELLENT condition for 64 years old. I held it up to the light and saw only one small snag and a tiny area where the threads are a bit skewed but no holes or stains. An authentic Hermes scarf will have hand-rolled, hand-stitched hems that are turned to the face of the scarf, just as these are, with perfectly matched thread. The stitching looks secure. Purchased about 20 years ago from a vintage clothing store in Brussels, Belgium, that only sells authentic vintage clothing and items in excellent condition. I never wore this. I just loved the colors and the nautical theme. No Hermes box but will wrap carefully. This is an extremely rare collectible. Please examine all the photos carefully.
