Pyrex 404 4 quart yellow mixing bowl, "primary colors" 1950s-60s

Large yellow PYREX mixing bowl. Minor scratches (see photo). Mixing marks in bottom appropriate for age (see photo). No fading color. First introduced in the mid-1940s, Pyrex's glass mixing bowls were a part of almost every home. 1950s and 1960s - "Made in the U.S.A." in all capital letters was added in the mid-1950s, along with a trademark symbol and/or trademark wording. The circle format ended and went to straight lines in the 1960s.
