These pants have a bit of a crop length to them hence the term gaucho pants. The embroidery down the side kind of fits in with that theme side pockets as well. The elastic waist will stretch easily to 23 inches. The fabric is 10 Cell which means these pants have a really nice hang to themin excellent condition. I like a crop length to show off my ankle boots
