This beautifully preserved demitasse (half-cup, or 4oz) cup has beautiful gilded accents that appear to have little to no wear/fading, somewhat translucent as is typical of fine Limoges ware, and almost like new. Probably used as a display piece. Perfect for an afternoon pick me up espresso. Made by Mavaleix & Granger, or MG, of Limoges France sometime between 1915 and 1938 (based on the makers marks on both the cup and saucer).
