rlcamejo @cynwilsn hi dear! Hope all is well(: I meant to ask you about the Chanel bag but I was away in MD for my daughters competition and wanted to take a closer look at the bag again before contacting you about it. So, I noticed there’s a tear by the inner pockets which appears and feels like it’s been glued together. There’s also 2 small tears by the corners (very tiny). I don’t have a Chanel store nearby and I’m not sure “any” cobbler would be able to fix it.

rlcamejo @cynwilsn any recommendations or ideas? The glue feels like it’s cracking and I’m afraid to use the bag and cause a bigger tear with weight bearing on the liner😬 you said you purchased it from Tradesy... was it like that and would they fix it? LMK if you have any suggestions. Ty!

cynwilsn @rlcamejo I sent it out to have the interior refinished because it had pen marks and they mentioned it so I ask them to repair it. Because it’s leather, I think your cobbler would be able to repair it. I am wondering if they repaired it too soon after the refinishing? I send mine to New Jersey, isn’t that where you live? Rago Brothers, that’s all they do is high end bags.

cynwilsn @rlcamejo I am so sorry that I didn’t notice it, I am such of a protectionist, I would have sent it back. I purchased the bag off of Tradesy, I knew it had pen marks but not the rips, but it is such a hard bag to find that it didn’t bother me to have it refinished on the interior.

cynwilsn @rlcamejo no that was a local cobbler, I don’t think Rago would repair that way. My neighbor told me about this local cobbler so I tried a few things but have not been happy with him. I haven’t used the bag in a while so I didn’t know it was coming unglued.

rlcamejo @cynwilsn it’s not a big issue seriously, I didn’t expect that to be there but being that it is... the inner lining feels very delicate and Id like to send it to someone who has experience with these bags and will be able to repair it. I’ve never had to send out any bags for repair so it’s new to me. I just want to reinforce that one larger tear by the pockets and the small ones so they don’t get bigger, that’s all. I’ll look into that company... if you think of anything else, please lmk.

rlcamejo @cynwilsn Also, no hologram... but I know they fall out especially bags that have been used. I do have the card(: I’m off tonight so I’ll do some checking🤓 The bag is gorgeous! It feels so soft and delicate inside... I don’t want to wear it till I find someone that can repair it, lol. Ty dear. Have a great day!
