Gorgeous, mother of the bride gown. Paula Varsalona is renowned for her fabulous designs and has her store in New york.This dress is in excellent condition. It was made strapless but has wide ruched detachable straps that drape over the top of the arms. It is 100% silk and is a mermaid style. Pleated and ruched all over to form soft drapes. There is a long concealed zip in the back with a large rosette attached on the front lower side. There is white mesh underneath to act as the stiffened for shape. The color is a rich teal.Absolutely stunning! I have included a stock picture at the end to show how the dress looks when it is on. The original owner was 5' 9" and a bust 36". Bridal dresses are usually made 2 or 3 sizes larger, she was a size 8.
