Sabyasachi saree for sale. Bought more than 5 years ago for a wedding. Worn twice only.
- Linen mul fabric in white
- Classic red and hand embroidered border
- Comes with blouse that can be altered I would assume.
- Main saree portion is white with the border, pallu can be visible in the images
- I don’t have proof of purchase and I never checked if it had a tag so because of that I have lowered the price.
-Original payment was likely more than $550 but can’t recall so put an amount that might make sense for a mul fabric based saree
-If I find an original photo I can share but it’s more than 5 years old and it wasn’t a new season when I bought it at a pop up.
-Please do not low ball too much on the price, I’m not nearly going to recover what I paid. I would like it to have a new home as it is a unique stunning piece. I have worn it twice and used it very gently.
- These are handmade or assembled sarees so it’s always going to have some imperfections or rather one may call them imperfections.
Thank you for looking!
Update:
I bought the saree at a bridal pop up in Blore and I didn’t question authenticity. This saree was also among the more affordable ones since it’s not silk and not too ornate. I understand for a buyer to want to know that information hence the total transparency. I lowered the price based on the fact that I don’t have proof of purchase. Judging on how prices are even for very low quality non designer ethnic outfits, I think this is an incredible pric

@deepti6 I mentioned about the tag in the description. I don’t have the tag on it. It’s possible it was removed during dry cleaning. I never checked when I bought it. Keeping that in mind, the price is considerably lowered. Hope that helps. The color is a soft white- so ivory. No hint of beige for sure.

What is the blouse size?

@gagnejam Blouse sleeve opening 14” Armpit to armpit seems 15” but stretchy Height 13” Back opening 10” Blouse armpit to shoulder is around 6.5” Blouse inside has a margin of 1.5 inch. You can remove one stitch and it will expand and even more as needed You can always remove the borders and get a different style blouse if needed. Blouse is a bit loose on me and can easily be adjusted. Easily fits 34B/C. Hope this helps.
