My little girls were born early, and were in the nicu for awhile. As a mother, anyone who has been through this experience knows how emotionally difficult it can be. There is a huge lack of preemie size hats and clothing on the market, and yet such a strong desire to make our babies feel at home while in the hospital, all while looking extra adorable in something that actually fits them and isn't too big!
