Pit Viper inspo “Pre Viper” vintage (1990s) military SPECS

Did you know that popular sunglasses manufacturer PIT VIPER got their start selling modified military surplus SPECS ballistic eye protection? Chuck Mumford was a ski dude that started buying up surplus government issue SPECS (Special Protective Eyewear Cylindrical System) painting the frames and customizing them with stickers. This is a new, old stock pair of these SPECS, unmodified- as they were originally manufactured and issued. Grey lens, black frame - in the standard or narrow size (NOT wide or double wide) - pretty similar to the Pit Viper Original model. Adjustable so you can customize fit - this specific model will fit most faces but if you’re looking for the PV “style” probably best suited for smaller to average sized heads/faces. I’m a pretty big guy and these fit, but don’t look as cool as the wider variety. Customize them to your own “SPEC” or leave them sterile if you prefer to fly under the radar with this style. Made in USA. Adjustable nose piece. “Arms” adjust in length. Includes two sets of arms, one traditional, one rounded (loops around ears for a very secure fit).
