Casserole bakeware dish and lid is in clear glass with a yellow tint to it, and features the "Victor"* lid. The lid is an etched flower, leaf and stem pattern. It is embossed with the US Patented logo with an S above the word PYREX and the backwards $ below the word Pyrex. This logo was used before 1919. . The rim of the dish has the number 193-293 on the outer rim. The Victor lid is marked 193-197 on one end and PYREX at the other end. across the top of the dish it measures 6 1/8" x 8 1/4" and is 3 5/8" tall.
Victor Cover (n.) - Name for higher profile lid available as an option on early clear Pyrex casseroles. The Victor lid has the high knob and sits flat on the rim of the casserole.
