These hiking pants from Prana are a thick nylon material that great on hiking trails with some scrub brush or anything that's going to get in your way. They have a wide leg to fit over hiking boots and helps keep things breezy as you go. They have mesh inner pockets, velcro back pockets, a side zip pocket, side phone pocket. Lots of storage without looking like cargo pants. The waist is 34 but runs small and would be ideal for a typical 33 size. The real waist measurement with the measuring tape (not vanity sizes that are most common in clothing) is 36 inches and can be checked against yourself or other pants. They feature a small cinch belt as well for minor adjustment on the waist.
