I've found a few ways to make myself a little better at recycling as I feed my shopping problem π€€π Please comment down below, what are your favorite ways to recycle, reduce, or reuse as a posh seller or buyer? MOST IMPORTANTLY: Poshmark is all about reusing old fashions so we're all already doing good for the planet! "You GO Glen Coco!" πππΌβ€οΈ Also if you're a busy person (work/family/LIFE?!) I'd love to make fabric recycling easier for you, just comment and I'll look into it for you.

Fabric recycling! I live in Tucson Arizona and never heard of it! Great!

@jeaneparadis yay! Apparently Nike and Patagonia also have fabric recycling programs. At H&M they'll take up to two trash bags full of fabric per person PER DAY and you get 10% your purchase there! Frankly I'm shocked that Lansing, Michigan has fabric recycling curbside... but SO thankful. This is a place that still tries to triple plastic bag groceries when I forget my reusable bags! ππ©

@jeaneparadis WOW Tucson has some pretty great services I think!! (Pima county?) you can download an app called "my waste" and it'll tell you where to take different things β»οΈπππΌ https://webcms.pima.gov/UserFiles/Servers/Server_6/File/Government/Wastewater%20Reclamation/Billing%20Inserts/2015/SEPT2015-WaterUtil.pdf

I love this post! I just learned that Madewell recycles old jeans to be turned into home insulation. If you bring a pair into a store you get either $20 or 20% (sorry, I can't remember which one π) off a new pair of jeans!

@hdmomto2 hey there! Looks like your city has a program called βusagainβ where you can drop off fabric recycling at standalone bins. I posted an image of all of their addresses and locations on a map. I hope this is convenient and helpful for you! Thanks for asking! β»οΈπππΌ
