michelleamar so you asked me what happened and I was in a show that they were doing mystery grab bags they told everybody that the bags were worth over $800 that all the bags in the bags you get to choose the bag and if you don’t want that particular bag you can choose another, but you can’t go back to the first one.

michelleamar I was the last person to choose so that I got to look at all of the bags, and while they were running, I was looking online to see what they were worth just in case I got caught up with one of the bags that was already seen and all of them were literally shit bags. Nothing was worth more than $200.

michelleamar I actually videoed them saying each bag worth over $800 bucks I am not an expert but I I do look up the bags before I start bidding on bags that I actually see, but in this case you didn’t see them and I told her you need to show authentication documents for each mystery bag, including a actual valuation from somebody that authenticated without showing the name of the bag that’s fine and then provide that to the clientbut not mislead them

erinzobrist Hey it's Erin from the posh show from @bagriculture. It was a rare Prada bag, Vintage Gucci Eye glasses case, and a Rare blueberry Coin pouch. I plan on posting pictures of everything when I receive the items the prices for each I'm thinking $500 for the prada bag and $300 a piece for the Gucci and Burberry. I understand it's not something that they will cancel but it would be nice if they would just cancel and re run like many other shows do. They are the only show I've seen that say it creates problems. This has caused me so much anxiety because I don't know if the items will actually sell (I still can't sell the items from months ago from them).

anniehelp321 @erinzobrist Initially, I had mixed feelings about Bagriculture and the not canceling accidental bids rule. I have since learned many of his competitors were bidding and canceling with the goal of disrupting his show on purpose, trying to ruin his business/steal his buyers, etc. And I have seen fake bidders elsewhere and it’s a real concern. It’s scary! He can’t stay in business and cancel any bids, it’s not financially viable, he would be broke and in debt in no time.

anniehelp321 @vegessa26 It can be frustrating, agreed. At night, the show is better, imo. The BagFather shows off the bags much better and there are often great deals. You’d see more Dior, plus, you can request say: black Dior such and such bag, and then my price range. They will search the inventory for options, no pressure to buy if you don’t like what they find. So, usually around 6:30PST. Hope to see you there, it’s fun! ❤️

anniehelp321 @luxtina oh!! And @Crystal_curls told me she took her liner out and used acetone to soak at the stickiness away. She was clear that it’s important not to get the acetone on the leather and to use gloves. I’m not sure how to get my liner out for the acetone so I’m going to try the scrub brush. You could ask her. She’s also AMAZING and helpful!! ❤️❤️❤️

dollesque @anniehelp321 Hi, sorry I missed your question. Just saw it. Vintage bags should always be restored, like if there is a hole or the dye is coming off. Any leather restoration company can do that. But, if you have any hardware like a zipper changed on a bag or a bracket added to a wallet, have the actual design house do that. My cousin works at Gucci and people bring in vtg bags and wallets with 3rd party zippers. They are no longer considered authentic Gucci at that point
