trishd79 I was diagnosed at age 35 with stage 4 breast cancer that had metastasized or spread; to my bones & organs. It was EVERYWHERE! I was very very sick for the first few years and now you would need in know I have cancer unless I told you. I'm in so much pain that the majority of my life is spent in bed. I can't do things with my children because of my pain and my money situation. The whole thing just sucks!

trishd79 @vtgimage Unfortunately I'm terminally ill there's no cure for what I have and there wasn't even an option to remove my breasts. Or I would have just let them take those suckers hahaha! My new years resolution not this year but last year was no more chemo I did not want any more poison put into my body. It's been a year now and my cancer is not spreading; its dormant. My oncologist says I'm a miracle walking!

vtgimage That’s was my mom. If they could say operate she would’ve. Mom moms has lung w metastasis to brain so and I believe her gp should’ve caught earlier. My Nana told the doctor even before he offers any options “ I’m not buying what ur selling “ ( that was so her personality ) and do not want her quality of life affected which drs also could not believe she went in for another 6 yrs.

I forgot to mention that it did go to my brain and my doctor missed it but I was walking into things having really badd headaches I was dizzy all the time and I knew something wasn't right. I got a second opinion and they found a walnut sized tumor on the right side of my cerebellum. They had to operate on that and the doctor said he thinks he got it all! We shall see!

vtgimage That’s what happened w my mom. But we had just lost my brother to drugs just 2 weeks prior. So we thought it was her grief that she began forgetting things and the the headaches came. And she had a very hi threshold for pain so when the headaches came to the point where she told my dad I must go to ER. We knew it was bad. They didn’t even think she would make thru the night. But she did.

vtgimage Yes she did when I was 25. But I can’t lie I’m 49 and it feels like it was yesterday. I’m glad ur continuing w tx . U sound like a fighter and survivor. And that’s so important. I'm so sorry for both of your losses it takes a strong person to go through that to you know?! I will be 40 this year but I don't feel like it it's crazy! I know what you mean about your mom morning to meet your kids because I'm sure mine will feel the same way when I pass.

trishd79 I'm so sorry for all of your losses. It takes a strong person to get their all of that too you know?! My kids are 20, 17 and 15 now. I know what you mean about your mom and wishing she could see your kids and how you've grown up because that's what I'll miss the most. I want to see my kids graduate from college, I want to see them get married and have children; my grandbabies! I don't listen to doctors there's only one doctor and hes up stairs and hes kept me here this long for a reason.
