Porcelain Vase Green/Gold Botanical Motif Hand Painted Gilt Accent China

Very attractive pale green porcelain vase with an intricate botanical motif featuring an exotic potted thistle, butterflies, and bordered with leafy foliage and golden blossoms (front and back). The gold accents were hand painted after firing. A simulated crazing effect gives a sense of antiquity, yet the Chinoiserie motif and the gloss and density of the porcelain likely date this piece to the 1980’s or 90’s. The bottom has been expertly protected with a non-slip material; no maker’s mark is visible. Stands approx 14” tall, mouth approx 4.25” wide. Weighs about 2.10 lbs Pre-loved, well-maintained.
