Porcelain & other items made in occupied Japan were produced between 1945 & 1952, during the Allied occupation of Japan after World War II. The United States led the occupation, which included military, political, economic, & social reforms. During this time, Japanese exports had to be labeled "Made in Occupied Japan" or "Occupied Japan", & the items often mimicked American & European styles.
I do have other Early Vintage Figurines listed if interested.
