These hand painted vintage bread and butter plates were made in California in the 1950's by Metlox. These pieces are a part of the Poppytrail collection, depicting a red, green & gold rooster, against an ivory background. A very enduring and popular pattern among many mid mod California pottery enthusiasts and quite a collectible! No chips, cracks or crazing. See photos for more details. Note that the back markings are different for one plate and are number stamped for the other two.
