Polly Flinders VINTAGE Hand Smocked Cotton Dress size 8

This adorable special occasion spring dress was mine as a child and I only managed to convince our daughter to wear it once. It is a vintage, hand-smocked Polly Flinders girl's dress from Garfinkels department store (Washington, DC), circa 1964... yes, it's that old! Please see the detail photos for three pinholes in the fabric which is otherwise sound. It's made of handkerchief-weight cotton, with a tulle petticoat sewn into the skirt. It buttons up the back and has a self-fabric tie belt at the waist.
