I have been on Poshmark since 2017. This is my own personal opinion. If you disagree, that’s okay 😀. Why Follow …. 1. If you sell high end items that shoppers may Google then maybe following is not as important. 2. I have been an avid follower from the beginning when I first started. My numbers show that. I don’t sell many high end items. I sell to many new Followers. Following more POSHERS gets more eyes on your items. 3. Poshmark has always been a social platform. Share closets, follow new POSHERS ect. I do not UNFOLLOW anyone. This can affect the algorithm and possibly affect your sales. 4. The Share & Follow games were meant to help you get MORE FOLLOWERS. They were never meant to get your closet more exposer or even sales. That’s just a PLUS of being featured. ♥️ These games were designed to GET MORE FOLLOWERS. That’s why you asked to SHARE the Featured closets and FOLLOW their NEW FOLLOW BUTTONS. Some POSHERS are going to disagree with me and that’s okay. Only about 1/3 follow back but most of my sales are from new to PM and also from offers to likers. New Poshers don't know much about Posh yet, so they are more of the impulse buyers, prior to them learning about offers. I follow at least 1000 new Poshers per day. Also, share share share, follow follow follow. One of the biggest closets I follow FP, has over 5M followers, guaranteeing that their follow list is non exhaustive. They also have the people that are willing to pay a bit more.
