grace4d About 18 years ago my mother rescued a pit bull from a guy training her to be mean. She was nearly 2 years old then. No matter what he did he couldn't make her mean, even after starving her, choke chain training, beating her etc. She was the sweetest dog ever. The only time I ever heard her growl was when my 5 lb. Chihuahua challenged her and would not leave HER alone. We named her Lady (most appropriate) and she was the best dog we ever had. She had human eyes. I had never seen eyes like that. I know she will be in heaven when I get there. Thank you for Pit Bull Awareness on her behalf. Dee

deenanelson We have a boxer / pit bull terrier mix rescue doggie and she's the most lovable dog. She lets my grand daughter use her as a body pillow and I'm sure she would protect us with her life if needed. The girls named her Teala but we call her Tee Tee.
