When i opened the balm that i kept for my self, i was really surprised. The color looks very dark, almost mahogany, in the tube. But when i put this on, it was perfect! It is soft and subtle in color. Instead of being too dark, it left the most beautiful honey colored, sheer, finish! I could see this being just as beautiful on someone of color, as it is on my very VERY pale, freckled skin! I definitely would recommend giving it a try.
