In 1990 the United States Postal Service honored The Wizard of Oz (1939 film starring Judy Garland, commonly ranked as one of the best movies of all time) by including it in a set of four classic films commemorative stamps honoring the 50th anniversaries of 4 Academy Award-nominated motion pictures from 1939. Resembling a miniature movie poster, the stamp was designed by Thomas Blackshear who did the original art for this Wizard of Oz commemorative postage stamp which was issued on March 24, 1990. A first class, 25-cent stamp in 1990. Now own this vintage rare piece of memorabilia as a wearable accessory! The beautiful classic film stamp pin of the classic, famous, talented Star Judy Garland as Dorothy, and Toto too will add an enchanting touch to any outfit and is a great conversation starter.
