bannie63 Hello, I love Janis Joplin. Ever since I was in my 20's people would stop me and tell me that I look just like Janis. All the time. My face, my hair and the clothes I wear. Now I'm 55. Less people say that to me now though. I guess I'm getting old. I wonder Janis would look like if she was 55?

phoebeleith1976 She would look like you do now, of course! Check out Courtney Hadwin's audition on The Voice when she was only 13 years old. That shy girl from Scotland who hides behind her father becomes Janis Joplin. I saw Janis perform 6 months before her death at Univ. of MD.'s Cole Field House. Nobody knew who the opening act was for her back then. It turned out to be Van Morrison.

phoebeleith1976 I'm building up my photo gallery and corresponding descriptions, wrapping, and sliding everything, piece by piece, into mailing packages which are all recycles so far, and labeling each item as I go. It's super fun and it's a lot of detailed intensive attention and etc. I'm sure you understand! I hope to launch it this month, October. I need to stay focused on building up the Posh Shot gallery listings and not yet worry about getting things to the post office asap. Thanks so much.

lydiadan1 @phoebeleith1976 phoebe I’m enjoying your closet so very much it’s a walk through time. I too loved Janis and mourned her tragic death. Do you know that the post office will pick up your packages for you. Saves you the trip. Also they give free materials. Boxes etc. but you may already know this. Love your closet keep it coming. phoebeleith1976 @darlou45 Great name. I had one child, a son, Chris, now 44 - a wonderful boy. If I'd had a girl, her name would've been Phoebe Leith. That is my Posh Closet name. Phoebe after Holden's sister in Catcher in the Rye and Leith after my Nanna.

satchel09 Westport Connecticut deck themselves out in to project some sort of persona! It used to just be a community of creative artists and people trying first run summer theater. Now just posers and no real personalities left!
