I wore this one time for my PhD graduation (UC Berkeley)- it is in good condition- just needs to be ironed. All you need to get in addition to this is the tassel and the stole (stole is optional for graduation). I'm 5'1 and athletic build.. so recommend this gown for someone on the shorter side. I believe this can fit men or women, as long as they are short like me.
