The mill was in Fontanet, IN. and was destroyed in an explosion, Oct 1907. The plates were a long time service award for years of service, working in a Dupont factory. The "Balfour" company is known for it's pewter creations. Their slogan is "The recognized leader in recognizing people". These beautiful plates would a wonderful addition to any collection.
