I’m a preschool teacher who is passionate about helping children learn through play! My hope is to create sensory play experiences that parents can easily implement at home or teachers can use in the classroom. This kit gives you everything you need to fill your own bin or container.
Why sensory play? It teaches several skills such as pretend play, creativity, self-control, problem solving skills, math skills, fine motor skills, and language development.
This kit contains everything you need for hours of endless imaginative play:
2 cups multi colored rice
Pete the Cat buttons counting board
Number cards- laminated
Pete the Cat colored shoes game cards-laminated
Buttons
Beads
Baking cup
Wooden spoon
Tweezers
Learners can bury the number cards in the rice, locate a number card, name the number, count out the correct amount of buttons and put on the Pete the Cat shirt.
Learners can use the numbered shoes cards to string the correct amount of beads on them. Practice building fine motor skills by scooping and pouring the rice into the cup and use the tweezers to pick up the number cards.
**Contents may vary slightly based upon availability.
** The rice is dyed using liquid water color paint.
**Small items may be a choking hazard. This kit is not recommended for children under the age of 3. Adult supervision is required.**
