This can be used to convert a dated recessed light to a beautiful pendant light in just minutes. Just remove the existing recessed light cover, screw in the heavy duty pendant light “bulb” replacement into the existing bulb fixture, adjust the pendant length to the desired hanging length, and then adjust the pendant recessed cover until it is flush with the ceiling. You can buy recessed light conversion kits for as little as around 60 dollars, but the ones with onyx will cost a few times that amount. I have 2 of them that are not in the box, but have never been used. Make me a offer on both of them if you have 2 recessed lights you'd like to replace. I watched a video on youtube and the guy there did the whole conversion in just a few minutes.
